While the first game, developed by Telltale Games, ended its five-episode story on a cliffhanger, today’s New Tales from the Borderlands leak makes no mention of the characters and story from that game. Gearbox Software and 2K Games announced plans to release a new game in the series earlier this year but shared no additional information at that time.

Amazon listings for Deluxe Editions were spotted by Wario64 on Twitter, setting up this new entry to launch on console (and probably PC) on October 21, 2022.
